About Our Team

At Yocum, Krowl & Associates, LLP, our mission is to help individuals secure the Social Security Disability benefits and Medicare coverage they need to live with dignity and peace of mind. We believe that every client deserves compassionate guidance, clear communication, and strong advocacy.

Our vision is to be the trusted partner people turn to when navigating life’s most important benefit systems—providing not only legal representation but also a sense of support and stability during challenging times.

For decades, our firm has been dedicated to this work. What began as a small practice serving local families has grown into a respected law firm representing clients throughout Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, Ohio, and beyond—even as far as Alaska. Though we’ve expanded our reach, our values remain the same: honesty, compassion, and commitment to achieving the best outcome for every client.

Our approach is guided by four core values that shape how we serve every client:

Commitment: We advocate for you from the first application to appeals, and continue with annual Medicare plan reviews.

Compassion: We listen closely to your story and understand the impact of disability on your life.

Integrity: We provide clear, honest guidance about your claim and options.

Excellence: We prepare every case thoroughly—collecting evidence, meeting deadlines, and filing correctly.

What We Do For Our Clients

  1. Listen & Learn: Review your providers, diagnoses, medications, and work history.
  2. Plan & Prepare: Build a tailored strategy with the strongest evidence.
  3. Guide & Advocate: Handle forms, medical records, SSA communication, and hearing preparation.
  4. Review & Support: Revisit claims or coverage as needs change, including yearly Medicare plan reviews during AEP.

Our attorneys bring deep experience in Social Security Disability law and Medicare plan guidance. Their legal knowledge, combined with compassion for clients, makes the process smoother and more successful.
